"King of Good Times hit by a Catastrophe"

Kingfisher Airlines incurring lost due to high cost of fuels is probably the  latest news that hit the nation. As per latest media source, the airline has suffered a whooping 469 crores which results in the airlines daily schedules being  cut and adversely has an impact on other airlines like Jet Airways,Indigo,GoAir etc to increase the fares of their  Flights, which on the other hand  is profitable for other airlines but a bane  to people who are flying in the air. Well, this has create a tremendous havoc in the industry even affecting the Government. As per the meeting and Appeal made by Vijay Mallya the Owner of the UB Group to the Finance Ministers for a financial assistance to recover his  loss, it is quite not understandable why the Government should utilized the People's money to revive a loss incurring private airline. And there is no possible reason why they should be actually  coming to the rescue of Mr. Mallya.
What about Banks??Are they ready to provide financial loans to the loss incurring airline? It seems Mallya's only option is to borrow funds from banks to recover his drowning business. But in any ways, it is affecting the current economy especially the airline industry and I think and hope that this issue should be put to rest as soon as possible for the betterment of the economic condition of the country as well as that of the common people.
Yesterday, I was on my usual routine of doing a general research in the internet and I came across the flights fares of the airlines cruising within the country. The prices of the fares has sky rocketed tremendously. For instance, the Delhi-Mumbai,Mumbai-Delhi flight usually cost around 3 grands earlier but as of yesterday, there isn't any flight which has fares lesser than 5 grands, such is the condition of price hiked in fuel and the stoppage of Kingfisher Airlines.
Well, All I can hope and pray is to stable the price of fuel and also wish Mr. Mallya recovers from his catastrophe attack ans start cruising his fleet of airlines for us, the common people!!

"CAREER GO ROUND"

What an irony it is to make a go round out of your career!!The title for this post is inspired by the adventurous spin around ride "Merry Go-Round". Why I use this??Because somewhere I feel that in my life, I have myself gone through a round and twist of career decision and what I exactly wanted to be in my life, from childhood till now, so the name...Enjoy the career ride..!!!

I still remember when I was in grade VI, whenever our teachers used to ask what We want to become  in life  when we grow up and I always recall myself saying I wanted to become a Doctor, an Engineer or most probably a Government Officer and I was so sure and confident  about my ambition that time that I will surely become one among the three mentioned. But as time passed by  my objectives and perception changes. during Xth standard I clearly recalls filling up my friends slam book mentioning I wanted to become an author or a Professor in the Aim in Life section. Seriously, I didn't realized I would be changing my objective and ambition with the change of time. Then comes 12th Standard where I got addicted to reading books and Novels and thus  adversely had an impact on my idea about my aim in life. When people asked me the most common and normal question stating "What would you like to do after you passed your 12th Standard?" pat came my response  that I want to become a Psychologist. Seriously??Did I wanted to study people's mind and thoughts and judge them on that basis?I will never know why,  but the sheer excitement and ability  to study people's thoughts and mind seems appealing to me so that was my only objective in life till I finish my 12th Standard. The irony here is I never studied or pursued any of the career or profession that I mentioned when I was younger because after all this self made dreams and objectives I ended up doing my graduation in  Business Management. I ridiculed my proneness to changes and the twist and turn I took in deciding about my aim in life and the worse part, literally not pursuing any of them!!

I know I am not the only person in life who has undergone this kind of changes in deciding  about their aims and objectives for life but somewhere I consider myself and my case more unique and different from others only because I feel that I made a lot of turns and twist to decide upon a particular ambition for life. Experts always says Life is what you make of it and following your passion is what makes your life worthwhile so I think I believe in that. Saying I want to become an engineer or a Doctor just because you have seen a lot of people doing it or your society or community only respect people with this profession is not the ultimate  solution for following one's heart and passion.Rather, I feel that we need to realized the strength in ourselves, the passion we have for and doing things which makes us happy!!There is no profession or career in life which is not worth it as long as you enjoy doing it and are happy and content with it.

HAPPINESS IN LIFE

"Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions" - Dalai Lama

How true is the above lines said by the holy and spiritual leader and how bitter truth it is to find and cultivate happiness for oneself. How does one finds happiness in life? Or how does one make himself happy throughout his life?Living your life happily or showing as if you are happy, is it the true sense of being happy and content in life?

Happiness, what exactly is happiness in life?how does one define it or feels that he is happy? For a child, happiness maybe a small gesture of kind and care from parents or  playing with friends. For a student, a good result with good grades in class can make him a happy person. For a lover, happiness may lies in the smile of his loved ones. For Parents, happiness will be the smile and laughter of their kids, and For a Mother, just the little smile of her child can be happiness. There are so many  little ways that can make one happy in life but it doesn't make one happy throughout his life.Happiness or being happy is just a temporary occurrence which fill the heart with love and joy for a single moment, an hour, a day, a month or so. But what about the ultimate and permanent happiness in life? Is it achievable by mere Humans or is it something which is out of our reach?

There is another quote which clearly says; "Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect, it means that you decided to look beyond the Imperfections." So basically, this quotes states that looking away or ignoring imperfections is another option for being happy. Does it means we have to avoid imperfections rather than striving towards it or challenging oneself to perfection? It is an universal truth that No Man is perfect but striving towards perfection makes a Man close to perfection and that is when he will be content and satisfied with his life for the endeavors and struggles that he have undergone in life to achieve perfection. At the end, challenging oneself to perfection is more worthwhile than achieving the perfection itself. Happiness will be achieved only when you undergo the struggles and hardship to achieve that ultimate objective in life. This will lead to the worthwhile satisfaction and achieving happiness in ones whole life.

So many philosophers and great leaders have  quoted their own thoughts and ideas about finding the true and ultimate happiness in life, but for me - Happiness is a sequence or multiple process where in if one door of happiness close, another one opens. This shows how we should never be paralyzed about not finding happiness in life because if there is sadness, there is happiness and likewise, there is always a way out of life or whatever works or ways we are stuck up with in life. It also teaches us how to be motivated an strong willed enough to hope for the rays of happiness to shine on us after a stormy and dark nights of sadness and turmoil. Finding happiness in life is not easy nor it is difficult, we just have to know how to make ourselves happy and the people around us whom we care and cherished the happiness with. That, according to me is the ultimate secret of being successful and satisfied in Life.
